Prehospital lung ultrasound in acute heart failure: Impact on diagnosis and treatment
The use of lung ultrasound significantly increased the number of patients receiving heart therapy before hospital arrival, improving overall patient outcomes. This study demonstrates POCUS devices significantly enhance the accuracy and speed of accute heart failure diagnosis and treatment in the prehospital and emergency medicine settings.
